Where Am I? Who Am I? What is This?

There are several possible answers.

1.      You are you, right where you are, living in your skin, reading a strange website that presents several levels of narrative in a fictional world.

2.      You are a fan of the game Wisteria VR, in the year 2043. Perhaps you listen to Dorian LeBlanc’s popular Wisteria fan podcast Long Live the Queen. Or perhaps more likely, you watch one of the many feeds of what’s happening in Wisteria.

3.      Perhaps you’d like to be a guest on LLTQ, or help create those feeds. The Wisteria board AI moderator can connect you to the right people.

4.      You are a reader of Wisteria Tales, a serialized novel about a young girl named Hope, that takes place in the world of Wisteria at some unspecified point in the recent “past" of this magical landscape.

5.      You are a player of Wisteria Tales - where you are Hope, a young girl whose father was killed and sister Ryland imprisoned, learning to use clockwork magic in hopes of rescuing Ryland. You experience Wisteria's past through Hope’s eyes. At each decision point your choices are compared with those of other people playing the same character, selected or combined by Wisteria's Possibility Engine, and used to determine what Hope does next. The result is written back to your short-term memory so that you think you, Hope, did exactly what you chose to do, just as in Wisteria itself.
